Testing
Geodaq provides complete pile testing services. Embedded strain gauge sensors can provide valuable information about pile end bearing and the distribution of side resistance. All strain gauges are digitized at the location of the sensor using a network of GST modules operating over one cable. Our pile testing module (GST250) reads one load cell and four displacement transducers to monitor forces and displacements at the pile top. Strain, load cell, and displacement readings are obtained simultaneously every 5 seconds and a load versus displacement plot is viewed in real time during each pile test.
