Demo
The UCLA Levee monitoring demonstration represents a unique opportunity to illustrate how our web-based software presents field monitoring results in real-time. This demonstration project involves only one monitoring station, but typical projects may have from 5 to 20 stations. Click the submit button on the client login to view the real-time levee monitoring demo (username: ucla, password: geodaq).
Project Tab
The Project tab includes a quick summary of each monitoring station for a given project. This information includes the date and time of the last reading as well as the current temperature, current battery voltage powering the station, and the total number of data records collected to date.
Instrumentation Tab
Instrumentation plans and sensor location information can be reviewed by clicking on the Instrumentation layout tab. The demonstration project also includes CPT results for the project site.
Station Tab
The health of the monitoring system can be instantly evaluated by clicking the Plot button. The demonstration program shows current voltage levels and charging cycles for the solar equipment.
GST Tab
The UCLA levee demonstration uses GST modules to monitoring water pressure and displacements. Results can be viewed for the last 50 records by clicking the Plot button. Additional records can be viewed by selecting a different number of records from the drop down menu.
Inclinometer Tab
A horizontal in-place inclinometer was installed below the test levee to monitor settlements over time. Clicking the Plot button downloads a complete set of cumulative and incremental displacements below the levee. A slider control below the displacement plots provides a way to view cumulative displacements over time at a selected location along the length of the inclinometer.
